The KS200UV series is a fully factory calibrated IoT ultraviolet (UV) radiation sensor for outdoor environments. It uses 2.4GHz WiFi 802.11n connectivity and features a Li-Ion backup battery. Every unit comes pre-flashed with Tasmota - the leading IoT open-source software - and is ready to use with Home Assistant. As standard every unit also includes temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. 

The sensor outputs provides raw sensor data as well as UV index.

Typical applications include

• UV index measurement for health and safety such as schools and nurseries, golf courses, construction sites
• UV index and radiation measurements for meteorological statistics and public information
• Agro-meteorology for smart farming applications

There are the following model options:

KS200UV-S-01: Standard model with UV, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure sensors, external 5VDC power supply and Li-Ion backup battery
KS200UV-E-01: All features of standard model but with built-in buzzer and LED indicator lamp for UV warning
KS200UV-HaLow-01: All features of standard model but with WiFi HaLow long distance extender

In addition the sensor module is available as accessory for various other Karrot Sensor models as customization option and standard in Froggie AEMI 3.0 stations.
